Treen Design

Treen Design was founded in 1996 by Martin de Ruyter to provide clients with affordable, bespoke, handmade furniture and kitchens.

16 years on, Martin has built up a formidable reputation for his designs and for his high level of craftsmanship which would explain why most of his work comes from through personal recommendation.

Based in Hampshire, Martin studied antique restoration at Highbury College, Portsmouth where he learnt about traditional carpentry methods, finishing techniques and the history of design. This knowledge, combined with over 12 years experience, enables him to provide a high quality personal service. You deal with him on all aspects of the design and he alone carries out the work.

To guarantee quality, Martin uses natural materials and finishes and he selects the timbers by hand ensuring that his furniture and kitchens stand the test of time. All wood used comes from sustainable forests or is reclaimed.
